Last year in August had we multiple bear sightings in the neighborhood. Multiple pictures and videos were captured from home owner’s cameras. A lot of damage was done.
We are starting to see their return
- About 5 bear sightings or evidence of bears have been on social media in the past few days
- Near Patapsco Female Institute
- Coming out of the woods into the parking lot at Enchanted Forest shopping center
- Damaged shepherds crooks in Waverly Woods. (we saw this last year with the bears going after bird feeders)
- Scat was found on one of the trails in the park.
- Be aware, secure your trash cans and remove bird feeders.
We will continue to monitor and share updates on a map if we see Yogi’s friends in the neighborhood.
